Day 6 - England - Lanes of Death
We visited an arboretum at Westonbirt, but to get there we took the route suggested by Google which put on many, many winding, single lane, hedge bound lanes which were allegedly 50 mph but we could only do 10 mph, sweating and white knucled the whole way. From this we learnt to avoid lanes and Google, especially since the calculated time is based on the maximum speed limit, which is very far from reality.
I didn't mention this before but the weather was just stunning the whole time we were in the UK. I mean better weather than we have had in Sydney for a year. The arboretum was lovely, very pretty and we had an informative tour. It was nice to be in the countryside.
We then went to Badminton where we scored an amazing park, but not without scraping the insanely low car over some humps. We saw Hazel ride a really good test to get her best score ever in that phase. Bronte was working so we didn't get to see her, so we made up for that by buying merch and browsing the million shops, grateful that a tight budget and weight limit did not allow us to do more than that
