Day 2 - Singapore - Many Quarters

We started the day with a great breakfast, then hit the districts. First the Indian quarter with hundreds of flower offering stalls, then the Arab quarter where I found a cat!

We then went to the Joo Chait Rd neighbourhood. Very striking architecture in the Paranakan style - colourful and practical! We had Singapore chilli crab for lunch which was yummy but hard to eat.

A long walk along the beach made me grateful for the air conditioned bus

Back to the hotel and a longish bus trip to Candlenut for dinner. It was incredible!
