Day 15 - Torino - Cars and a relaxed end to Eurovision
We were in Torino for the live final, so of course we went to the Eurovision village to watch it on the big screen. E certainly no as we had seen the lines, heard it was feral and chose not to. Instead we had some amazing sushi and watched from the comfort of our apartment. After reading on Twitter of things that went on it was a good move.
To kill time we went to the Automobile museum which was surprisingly good. I'm not so into cars but the link with the social made it facinating. And they do a lot of restoration and have an amazing library.
We then went back into town for a last look at Torino. It is a modest city, in that they don't really brag or signpost their amazing buildings. A lot of the time was me going "What the hell is that," while pointing to a substantial building which would turn out to be a church or hotel without a write up anywhere. There is a lot to see.
Home again to pack then watch the final. I cannot believe Sheldon only got 2 points from voters! How rude. Sad to see the UK did not win, but second is amazing considering they had no votes in the last two Eurovisions. Good to see Sweden and Serbia doing well. Some controversy, but that is Eurovision
